How it works

From the first signal to a sent mission in five minutes.

Here is each step of a mission, from the first spike to the archive, and the moments where a person decides.

The loop

Watch, decide, send.

Three stages, and a person owns the one that matters. The AI never posts, never contacts anyone, and never sends a mission on its own.

Watch

What Ostracon reads

  • Trends from open platforms, public Telegram channels, and news.
  • Member reports: what supporters see in their own feeds, including on platforms no outside tool can watch.
  • Your tone notes and the missions you sent before.
  • Your groups: regions, sectors, languages, and training cohorts.

Decide

Briefing and draft

  • Summary. What is happening, in three sentences.
  • Three moves. Ignore, mirror, or push your own agenda, each with one line of reasoning.
  • A recommendation. On opponent bait, the default is ignore.
  • A draft. The chosen move becomes a mission draft, with variations and translations.

Send

A mission a person approved

  • The ask: angle, content guide, assets, hashtag, and link.
  • The people: target groups and a time window.
  • The channels: a preview for Telegram, the app, and the WhatsApp Channel post.
  • The approver: a named person, recorded in the archive.

Mission types

Ask for more than a share.

Platforms rank shares, sends, and full watches above likes, and messages from friends move people more than messages from organizations. So missions ask for the actions that count.

01

Post in your own words

A content guide with an angle, images, and a hashtag. Each supporter writes their own post, so thousands of people never paste the same text.

02

Send to three friends

A personal message to people the supporter knows. Friend-to-friend contact has the strongest evidence for getting people to act.

03

Show up

Confirm attendance, share the event, and post one photo on the day. The street and the feed build on each other.

04

Watch to the end

Full watches tell a platform a video matters. Supporters watch your own clip, not the attack.

Also: share, sign, and practice. There is no report-this-post mission.

Sample timeline

One evening, from the first spike to the archive.

Results

Count people, then actions, then reach.

Supporters tap Done in Telegram or the app and can add a link to their post. You see delivered, opened, and completed per group and per channel while the mission is live. A WhatsApp Channel only shows emoji reactions, so Ostracon counts those separately and says so.

Why the default is ignore

Silence is a move too.

Replies, quote posts, and angry comments all count as engagement, and engagement buys reach. When a trend is bait from an opponent, the briefing recommends ignoring it and giving members something of your own to push. Your coordinator can always overrule it.

IgnoreOpponent bait. Don't reply, don't quote, scroll past.

MirrorFlip their format or hashtag to carry your message.

PushPut your own story in front of members.

How a call is explained

Housing attack clip: ignore

Every recommendation shows its reasons, so a coordinator can explain the call to a director or disagree with it. Here, most of the clip's engagement comes from replies and quote posts.

Where a person decides

The AI drafts. People decide.

Every step that reaches a supporter has a named person behind it, and every supporter writes and posts for themselves.
